Overall, the prevalence of post–COVID-19 condition, or long COVID, has declined among US adults, based on a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) analysis of the Census Bureau’s Household Pulse Survey responses. In June 2023, about 11% of participants with a previous SARS-CoV-2 infection reported currently having long COVID, compared with nearly 19% at 12 months prior. Prevalence of long COVID among all US adults also decreased, from 7.5% to 6%.
